Boracay: The Cheapest Tropical Island

Every single living human being must see what Boracay is all about. This island will surely give you the best and the cheapest tropical experience ever. Leave at least 3 days for your stay but 5 days is perfect to take it all in. December to April considered the best season for Boracay but I was there on November and it was perfect.

This highly popular island as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. You get to enjoy stunning white sand beach, bright turquoise water, laid back atmosphere and FANTASTIC nightlife. Yes, it’s loaded with too many tourists but you wouldn’t care because you are having a blast anyway and White Beach is long enough to find some spot for yourself. If you wanna stay away from the crowds, quiet options available on north end of the island.

I highly recommend Frendz Resort And Hostel for accommodation. The hostel is in 2 minutes walking distance to White Beach. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated with native island style. It’s one of the most social places I have ever been. You get to meet , eat, drink with other people at the common area then head to clubs all together and party till morning. They have free pasta nights every Wednesday and Sunday. Make sure to be there on these days.  You can’t miss the legendary pasta night.

What makes this island truly beautiful is its local people. They are the nicest, warmest, the most friendly and helpful people on earth and thanks to them you are making unforgettable memories.

Nightlife is pretty much amazing and CRAZY. Walk along the beach path and go bar hopping. There is not a single place plays bad music. Must dance at “Epic” nightclub. Drink local Filipino beers such as San Miguel and Red Horse. Rum is also very cheap. You can have a rum and coke for 50 pesos (1 USD).

Other than laying on the beach, there are plenty of activities to do. You can go island hopping(snorkeling and cliff jumping included), scuba diving, helmet diving, parasailing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, paraw sailing and kite surfing at Bulabog Beach.

Any type of food available for any budget. It’s pretty cheap in general. D’Mall is the main shopping place on the island with a wide range of restaurants.
