How To Spend A Day in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is all about glam and fame. Offering too many iconic sites makes this city enjoyable, fun and exciting to visit. Best way to explore the city is by car. You can get the most of the city with driving around, hiking on the hills of Hollywood for the best views of the city and soaking up California sun at famous beaches.

Accommodation is expensive and it doesn’t worth to spend so much time in the city anyway. Check hostels and motels around Hollywood area as they may considered to be the cheapest options.

Things To Do- One day is enough to see everything in Los Angeles. If you are visiting Universal Studios and Disneyland, you need a day for each theme park.

Here is a list of all the things you can do in one day.

Santa Monica

Santa Monica Pier is a very popular attraction that you shouldn’t miss. Make your way though the Third Street Promenade for shopping and dining.

Venice Beach

Coolest beach ever to hang out.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

Get to Hollywood Boulevard to take a long stroll along the Walk of Fame. Continue to famous theaters.

Grauman’s Chinese Theater and Dolby Theater

The most iconic area of Los Angeles. If you aren’t into any Hollywood movie industry stuff, skip here. It was enough for me just to see Harry Potter cast hand prints and photobombing a stormtrooper as a fan of Harry Potter and Star Wars movies.

Hollywood Sign

You can get a view of the sign from Griffith Observatory but it’s kinda far. Type “Hollywood Sign” to your GPS. This will get you to the nearest possible point.

Griffith Observatory and Griffith Park

Best place Los Angeles has to offer. You cannot leave without visiting here. Perfect for an urban hike and city views.

Rodeo Drive

Nothing special, just another famous place in LA.

Universal Studios and Disneyland

You have to experience these parks at least once in a lifetime no matter how old you are. Visit them here in Los Angeles or in Orlando.
